So here are some things that I've been wondering about today....
1. Hi, I'm Becky, and I'm a Pop-Tart-a-holic. It's a problem I would like to stop eating them for breakfast every day
I have been trying to keep my calorie intake at a certain level, so I scanned the bar code to enter my breakfast entry in my My Fitness Pal diary. The back of the box listed the UNfrosted blueberry Pop-Tarts as 10 more calories than the frosted ones!
Huh?
When I scanned it, though, it actually came up with the same amount of calories as the frosted ones.
BUT STILL.
Wouldn't you think that since these ones don't have the sugary sweet frosting, that they should be less in calories? Or do I just not get how this works.

I went to the grocery store to grab some of the ingredients to make said cookies, and......NO flax seed. I'm guessing it's because this is a small town grocery store. I'm not far from some larger grocery stores that will probably have it. I just wish ours would get with the times.

3. This person is my Facebook friend. The person is a parent of one of my former students, and while the person is nice. The posts drive me insane.
Don't get me wrong. I don't mind the abbreviated and creative spellings that have been designed when texting first began, and you had to communicate using approximately 10 characters or less....I even use them myself! But this is FACEBOOK. You could write a WHOLE BOOK for your status! This is not Twitter where you need 140 characters or less, and for goodness sakes, as far as I know, there isn't even a character limit for texting anymore! I don't even text like this 99% of the time
I know, you're probably thinking that I'm just being mean, or maybe the person was in a hurry. I promise, I'm not. Or this person is in a hurry EVERY. DAY. Because the posts are like this EVERY. DAY. "Time 4 my walk 2 the store." For starters, no one cares that you're taking a walk to the store, and if we did, we would like you to tell us that it's "Time for my walk to the store."
I promise. Facebook gives you enough characters to do it without even making us click on that "Continue Reading" button...

I love Poptarts too. In fact, I love them so much that I haven't had any for 3+ years. Unfrosted are best, I agree. I used to put butter on them.
I got flaxseed at probably the commissary. You can order it on Amazon for the same price as you can get it in the store. Tell Scott he needs to buy shake mix. GNC 100% Whey Protein. Trying to cook/bake with that much protein is a fruitless effort. You can put the powdered protein (it tastes good!) into bars/brownie-like treats.
