Celebrating Home

I have been a Designer with Celebrating Home for a little over a year now! If you are not aware, Celebrating Home is a wonderful company that sells decorative stoneware, candles, and decorations for the home.  We also have a line called Penelope Ann which has jewelry, handbags, scarves, and other accessories for YOU!

Prior to becoming a Designer, I received a Bean Pot as a gift. Once I began using it, I fell in love! Bean Pots can be used in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. You can use them as decorative pieces, as well! I’ve created this page to have an index of my posts with my Bean Pot recipes. If I’ve made it, I’ve blogged about it. Find one that appeals to you? Bean Pot Recipe Posts
I will continue to update this page as I try more recipes.

Other Bean Pot Recipes (AKA Bean Pot recipes that are so easy, it's silly to write a whole blog post about them)
Chocolate Lava Cake
You need: 1 chocolate cake mix, 1 can of chocolate frosting
Directions: In the Bean Pot, make cake mix according to package directions. Take the can of frosting and dob it over the top of the cake mix. Put the lid on the Bean Pot, and put in microwave. Microwave for 10 minutes. Voila! Chocolate Lava Cake!

Corn on the Cob
You need: 4-5 ears of corn, 1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter
Directions: Cut up the butter and throw in the Bean Pot.  Place corn in Bean Pot.  Microwave for 10 minutes.

Don't have a popcorn popper?  Tired of the microwave stuff?  Use your bean pot!  Heat 1 tsp. of oil in the bean pot in a microwave for about 1 minute.  Add 1/4 c. unpopped popcorn.  Put the lid on the bean pot, and put it back in the microwave for about 4 minutes.

Dreamsicle Cake
You need: 1 white or yellow cake mix, 1 can (12 oz) orange soda
Directions: Empty the cake mix into the Bean Pot.  Pour in the can of soda.  Microwave for 8-10 minutes.
