What I'm Loving Wednesday...

Why not?

I felt the need to write something much lighter than my last post, and after reading Micah's What I'm Loving Wednesday, I thought I'd write one of my own!

This Wednesday I'm loving...

...the Olympics!
I'm super into the Olympics this year.  Perhaps, it's just from being laid up from my surgery and that it's always on, BUT I especially enjoy watching swimming and gymnastics.

These girls were freaking AWESOME!!  (via)
Have you SEEN these two swim???  (via)
...my husband.
Sure, I always love him, but he's been so awesome this week taking care of me, doing things I usually do (i.e. dishes), and making sure I have food and things I want/need.

...reading.
I am currently reading Written in my Heart's Own Blood by Diana Gabaldon.  From what I understand, it's the last book in the Outlander series.  I actually have a very hard time putting it down. Up next on my reading list: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (because, of course) and Adnon's Story by Rabia Chaudry.

...McDonald's Sweet Tea.
I had to get some blood work today to confirm things are going well post-surgery.  There's a McDonald's right by the lab I went to, and Scott got me a a sweet tea.  I drink water pretty much all the time.  Sometimes, it's so nice to have something different!

...rain!
It's hardly rained here at all since May.  Right now, the heavens have finally opened up, and we're actually getting some much needed rainfall.

What are you loving this Wednesday?

I had McDonald's tea for the first time ever on Tuesday. It was half-sweet, half-unsweet. Now I'm craving another one!

Iced tea sounds pretty spectacular right now. So glad to hear your husband's taking good care of you.

Love the Olympics! Gymnastics and swimming are our favorites too, and we get sucked in to the most random events on TV... diving, rowing, and right now rhythmic gymnastics. : )
