6th Annual Great Pumpkin Swap Reveal!

I might not have a lot of time these days, but I had to make time to host The 6th Annual Great Pumpkin swap with Kristin!  It's a fall tradition that I love!

This year, due to an uneven number of participants, I got to be part of our first ever swap trio!  Regine, Brittany, and I were grouped together.  I mailed a swap package to Regine, Regine sent to Brittany, and Brittany sent to me.  I won't lie, we were confused at first.  Haha!  BUT we figured it out.

This is such a perfect fall package!  As a new mom, I've realized that caffeine is a must in my daily life.  I've tried and just CAN'T do coffee, but I discovered I can do cappuccino.  So the travel mug is a perfect addition to my collection.  The scarf is beautiful, and you just can't go wrong with Ghirardelli squares!

IT'S TIME FOR THE 6TH ANNUAL GREAT PUMPKIN SWAP!!!!

So I know I've really been MIA around here lately.  This being a new working mom thing isn't easy.  I've been working really hard to make time in my day to complete life essentials, and unfortunately, blogging just isn't one of them for me.

HOWEVER

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to host the 6th Annual Great Pumpkin Swap with Kristin!

Here's how it works:

1. Fill out the form to sign up for the swap! Sign-ups end on Friday, October 6th at 11:59 PM (EST)

2. By Monday, October 9th, you will get an e-mail from one of us with your swap partner.

3. Once you know your partner, please make contact within 48 hours (by Wednesday, October 11th) to get to know a bit more about each other.

4. Spend $15-$20 (excluding shipping) to put together a fun fall themed package for your partner.

5. Mail your package on or before Tuesday, October 24th.

6. Link up with us on Tuesday, November 7th to share your swap goodies! You can link up your blog post and/or share on Instagram or Twitter. Use #GreatPumpkinSwap and tag me @rebeckann2 and Kristin @kedarhower!

That's all there is to it!  You don't have to have a blog to participate.

The 5th Annual Great Pumpkin Swap

Fall is here, and it's time again for a swap!!

Once again, Kristin and I are hosting the Great Pumpkin Swap!  It's insane that this is the 5th year for the swap!  I have been so fortunate to connect with some great people across the country through this swap, and I really look forward to it each year.

Remember, you don't have to have a BLOG to swap with us!  You can share your swap goodies via any social media platforms you use, and/or your partner can share for you on her blog!

Here's the timeline for this year's swap:

1. Fill out the form to sign up for the swap! Sign-ups end on Friday, October 7th at 11:59 PM (EST)

2. By Monday, October 10th, you will get an e-mail from me with your swap partner.

The 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Swap...Reveal!

I am honored to have hosted The 4th Annual Pumpkin Swap again this year with Kristin!  She is a MUCH better blogger than I am, and I'm thankful that she still hosts this with me because who doesn't love a good swap!?

This year, I was partnered with Joey from HodgesPodges.  As always, I have loved getting to "know" my swap partner and reading her blog.  As it turns out, we both have a deep love of nail polish!  Be sure to hop on over to her blog today to see what I sent to her in the swap!

I think Joey hit the nail on the head.  There are few things that I love more than pens and nail polish!  The cuticle cream and journal will definitely be put to good use! :)

I didn't mind that the package wasn't specifically fall themed, but truthfully, I'll be using these items IN the fall, so that counts, right?!

I have sort of not been very active here lately, so I can't blame you if you did.

BUT it's here!

Swaps are so much fun, and I've loved participating in (and hosting) this one for the last three years!  Kristin (from Stuff & Things) and I thought it would be fun to save the swap until fall was really getting under way this year.

If you haven't done a swap before, you don't HAVE to have a blog.  Your partner can share what they're sending on her (or his) blog when it's reveal time.  You can also share your goodies on other social media!  A swap is also a great way to make new friends across the country (or world).  Thanks to this swap, I have met and continue to follow Casey from Everyday Adventures, Rachel from The Ross Family, and last year, Micah from Unabashedly Me.

So here's how things will go this year:

1. Fill out the form to sign up for the swap! Sign-ups end on Friday, October 9th at 11:59pm.

2. By Monday, October 12th, you will get an e-mail from one of us with your swap partner.

3. Once you know your partner, please make contact within 48 hours (by Wednesday, October 14th) to get to know a bit more about each other.

The Third Annual Great Pumpkin Swap: REVEAL!

I don't know about you, but I love getting mail.  I have always loved getting mail, and mail is even better when it's a package full of goodies!  For this, and so many other reasons, I'm so glad that I got to host the Great Pumpkin Swap with Kristin again this year!

Last year, we had an odd number of participants, and Kristin graciously took on a second partner.  We had an odd number again this year, and I took a second partner this time.  That just made things EXTRA exciting since I had two packages to look forward to!

My first partner is Ann from Annster's Domain.  I loved Ann's enthusiasm for the swap.  As it turns out, Ann is also from PA, and she's not too far from my little town since she lives near Pittsburgh!

Oh friends, we are well on our way to fall, and that means that it's time for The 3rd Annual Great Pumpkin Swap!!

The 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Swap! (REVEAL)

I am so glad that Kristin agreed to host this swap with me!  I just want to thank her for all the work she did for this since it was my first time hosting a swap, and I was completely clueless!  Thanks, Kristin! :)

Last October, I did my very first blog swap!  It was hosted by my friend Kristin and another blogger, Allie.  I loved picking out gifts to send, and getting my package in the mail, too.  That's also when I got to meet Casey because we were paired up! 

So anyway, about a month ago, I e-mailed Kristin and asked if she'd be interested in hosting a fall blog swap with me, and so was born the 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Swap! :)

 

I can't even express how excited I am!  :)  So here's what you need to know!

 

What:  A fun swap of all things Fall with a blog partner.  You sign up, we give you a partner, you do some shopping, and ship out the package.  

And then,  you'll get a fun package in return! 

Cost should be $15-20 without the shipping.

 

When: Sign-ups will run from today to Monday, October 7th.  We'll send you your partner's email address by Friday, October 11th, so you can swap contact info (We'll have all the info on a spreadsheet, so if you have questions just let me know!)  Packages need to be mailed out by Friday, October 18th.  We'll link up our reveals on Friday, October 25th!
